The Importance of the Connect Card
If you're new with us you'll notice that we've slipped something called a "Connect Card" in your bulletin. If you've been with us for a while you'll notice that the design for our Connect Card has recently changed and we will be emphasizing it more on Sunday mornings. It looks like this:
Make no mistake, this little card is extremely important. Whether you're a first time guest or a long time member, this card is for you. The Connect Card plays a vital role in the way that we do hospitality and communications. How should you use this card?
If you're a new visitor:
If you're visiting with us for the first, second, or third time we would love to know that you were here. We'd love to know what's going on in your life, what has led you to visit Faith, and how we can help you take next steps. Please fill out your name and contact info and drop this card in the collection plate or in the box at the Connect Desk in the foyer.
You can also use this card to ask specific questions, indicate specific interests, let us know about prayer requests, or respond to something that's been announced. In other words, you can use this card to sign up for things like Community Groups or events.
If you're a regular or a member:
If you've been with us for a while this card is still useful to you. View this card as your most simple, direct line of communication from you to our church offices. Please let us know about prayer requests or needs you have. Use this card to sign up for events, Community Groups, or other things announced on a Sunday. If you have a confidential need or prayer request you can even indicate that this card is for pastors only. Only their eyes will see it. Drop this card in the collection plate or in the box at the Connect Desk.
We believe in hospitality, connections, and communications so much that we are committed to an initial followup within 48 hours for every Connect Card we receive. We want to know that you've visited, that you have some need or prayer request, or that you're trying to get more informed or connected. All of this is part of our efforts to cultivate a family living on mission at Faith Church.
